Huntington police arrested two men from Detroit on drug charges after they allegedly found nearly 300 pills on them.
Henry Christopher Moore, 23, and Joseph Thomas Moore, 22, were arrested Monday, according to a criminal complaint from Cabell County Magistrate Court.
The complaint said police spotted the two suspects acting suspiciously in the 1200 block of Third Avenue in Huntington. According to the complaint, Joseph Moore took off on foot and police saw him throw a pistol on the ground. When police searched the men, they allegedly found 265 Xanax and 30 roxycodone pills on Henry Moore and 34 prescription pills on Joseph Moore.
Henry Christopher Moore is being charged with possession with the intent and being a fugitive. Joseph Thomas Moore is charged with possession with intent, fleeing and carrying a dangerous weapon. The two are being held at the Western Regional Jail.
