He was an international superstar and now Buddy, the lovable golden retriever, is being immortalized in a new book.
Buddy's former owner and trainer Keven Di Cicco is on a nationwide book tour promoting, "Go Buddy!" The Air Bud story." He brought along Buddy's two sons -- Buddy, Jr. and Brutus on a trip to the capital city Monday.
Di Cicco says the original Buddy was a stray, he found abandoned in Sierra, Nevada, and now has more sequels in Hollywood history than any other film character -- with the exception of James Bond.
Di Cicco says he's off next to Cincinnati and the David Letterman show in New York City where Buddy made his debut in the stupid pet tricks segment -- shooting basketballs with his nose.
You can get the book "Go Buddy: The Air Bud Story" at Amazon, Barnes and Noble and iTunes book store.
