Two teens have died in a car accident near Wellston in Jackson County, Ohio.
Gary L. Brown Jr., 19, of Wellston and Amanda D. Blazer, 19, of Lancaster, Ohio, were killed in the accident that happened about 7 a.m. Wednesday on Township Road 191, according to a news release from the Jackson Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol. The wreck occurred just south of state Route 327.
Police said Brown was driving the Ford pickup truck when it was went off the road and hit a tree.
Both were pronounced dead at the scene. The accident remains under investigation.
