A Kanawha County man is headed to prison after being found guilty of possessing child pornography.
William Collins will spend two years in prison and then be on supervised release for 10 years. He will be required to register as a sex offender.
Kanawha County Circuit Judge Tod Kaufman handed down the jail sentence Wednesday morning.

A Kanawha County man faces up to eight years in prison after pleading guilty to possessing child pornography Wednesday.
William Collins plead guilty to four of the eleven charges that he had child porn on a computer.
He was caught when the images were discovered after he returned the computer to Rent-A-Center.
Judge Tod Kaufman hiked Collins bond from $250 to $25,000 dollars after he learned the details of a public urination charge filed against him while out on bond.
A prosecutor said a child was nearby and may have seen the incident. Collins is behind bars now awaiting sentencing in September.
