The West Virginia Regional Jail and Correctional Facility Authority has a new chief of operations.
Carl Aldridge will oversee operations at the authority's 10 regional jails.
He has been with the agency since June 1993, when he began work as a correctional officer at the South Central Regional Jail. The authority announced Aldridge's appointment Monday.
