A benefit concert is planned Sunday at Christ Church United Methodist in Charleston to help a children’s home in Kenya.
The public is invited to attend the 2 p.m. Benefit Concert for Tumaini, according to a news release from organizers of the event. The concert will feature the concert choir of the Appalachian Children’s Chorus, the Martin Luther King Jr. Chorus, the Rev. Ethel Caffie-Austin, dancer Kendalyn McDaniel and the nowHere Praise Team.
A free will offering will be collected with all proceeds going to the Tumaini Children’s Home in Nyeri, Kenya.
