A string of early morning robberies over the weekend are keeping Raleigh County investigators busy.
The first robbery happened about 7 a.m. at the Wendy's on Robert C. Byrd Drive. Dispatchers said two men walked into the restaurant, pulled out a gun and demanded money. The robbers then took off with the cash.
A short time later, a second robbery was reported at the Dollar General in Glen Daniels. There was only one suspect in that robbery, and the Raleigh County Sheriff's Department is investigating.
Anyone with information on the robbery at Wendy's should call Beckley police at 304-256-1720.
