West Virginia's best educators were recognized Wednesday night, and one walked away with the 2013 Teacher of the Year Award.
Mike Funkhouser was named the 2013 Teacher of the Year at the 2012 Orchestra of Achievements Banquet.
Funkhouser is an English teacher at East Hardy High School.
