As we brace for Trooper Eric Workman's farewell ceremony on Wednesday, the goodbyes began Tuesday at Clay County High School. This is where the visitation took place for Trooper Eric Workman.
The outpouring of support from this community has been so great that shuttles were on stand by at the courthouse to drive people to the high school to pay their respects. The crowd was filled with faces of family, loved ones, police officers, state troopers, first responders and others from all across the state and the country, honoring a man who died in the line of duty.
A small memorial service also took place last night so that Workman was honored in the County he grew up in and loved.
