The University of Charleston has appointed Scott Bellamy as dean of the School of Business.
Bellamy succeeds Charles Stebbins, who retired in May, according to a news release from the university.
In May 2011, Bellamy joined the faculty of the UC business school after serving 12 years as a tenured associate professor of economics at West Virginia Wesleyan College and as executive director of its MBA program from 2004 to 2008.
Bellamy holds a bachelor’s degree in management from the University of Tennessee, an MBA from East Tennessee State University and both a master’s and a doctorate in economics from the University of Kentucky.
