An Ohio man has been killed in a motorcycle accident in Athens County.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol reported that 52-year-old Michael T. Hoffman of Nelsonville died about 1:30 a.m. Saturday when his motorcycle went off Route 56 and struck landscape brick around a culvert, hit a signpost, and slid into a parked box truck.
Hoffman was ejected from his vehicle. He was wearing a helmet.
