West Virginia State Police cited nearly 50 drivers for speeding and arrested two people on drug charges during a patrol blitz on Interstate 64 in Cabell County earlier this week.
State Police said one driver cited during the enforcement effort was clocked at 98 mph.
The crackdown targeted a stretch of I-64 between the Huntington Mall and the Putnam County line.
Another patrol blitz is planned on the interstate later this week.
