A two-vehicle accident at the foot of the Dunbar Toll Bridge Friday afternoon involving a deputy sheriff’s cruiser sent two people to the hospital, authorities said.
One of the vehicles was driven by a deputy sheriff, the Kanawha County Sheriff’s Department said. He was expected to be OK. No information was available on the condition of the other injured driver.
A Metro 911 dispatcher said the accident occurred about 3:25 p.m. near the McDonald’s in Dunbar. At 4 p.m., there were no reports of traffic being rerouted, the dispatcher said.
