One West Virginian is sick after eating bad cantaloupe. Kanawha County Health Officials confirm a 47-year-old man was hospitalized for salmonella after eating the fruit.
The unidentified man spent nearly a week in the hospital. Salmonella symptoms include diarrhea, fever, and abdominal cramps.
The outbreak has been traced back to an Indiana farm. So far, 141 people across 20 states have gotten sick including two people in Kentucky who have died.
