Murder charges against a man accused of killing a Charleston teenager have been dismissed.
Marcus Wesley was arrested in connection with the shooting death of Leland Chase Miller, who was just 17 years old when police say he was gunned down on Lewis Street back in 2007.
Michael Johnson admitted to being the actual gunman in the case, and has already pleaded guilty to second-degree murder. He is currently serving a 10-year prison sentence.
On Monday, the charges against Wesley were dismissed due to insufficient evidence for the case to move forward, according to the Kanawha County Prosecutor's Office.
