A standoff in Huntington ended peacefully Sunday night.
Police say a man made threats to take his own life inside his home on 12th Avenue and Third Street about 7:30 p.m. It took officers a couple of hours to get the man to surrender.
Police say there was a strong smell of natural gas inside the residence. The man was taken to a local hospital.
