The driver of the Nicholas County school bus who picked up two adults later charged with public intoxication and several other offenses initially mistook the suspects for students, Nicholas County Sheriff Wetzel Bennett said. “It was the first day (of school), and they don’t know yet who gets on where,” Bennett said Friday. “The bus driver just assumed they were high school or middle-school students.” Bryan L.
