The mayor of the town of Wayne has resigned.
Dwayne Stiltner stepped down Monday due to personal reasons, former longtime Wayne mayor Junior Ramey told Eyewitness News. In late May, Stiltner's teenager daughter, Kristen, died in a car crash.
Council plans to meet later this week to vote on who will take over as mayor.
