Hundreds of young soccer players will bring their best game - and that means big business to Cabell County - as the West Virginia Soccer Association once again hosts a national tournament.
Barboursville City Manager Chris Tatum said Tuesday that the U.S. Youth Soccer Region I Championship tourney will be played in Barboursville in both 2015 and 2016.
The tournament games will be played at the Barboursville Soccer Complex and the YMCA Kennedy Center.
The tournaments are expected to bring more than $14 million in economic impact each year to the Barboursville-Huntington-Charleston area. The tournament was hosted here previously in 2009.
