Three people are in jail after police say they caught the trio with meth-making materials.
Matthew Hill, 32, of Milton, Roger Dale Gilpin II, 29, of Huntington and Nicole Mallory Hedrick, 23, of Milton were charged with attempting to operate a meth lab, Patrolman D.T. Bishop of the Milton Police Department said.
Bishop said Hill and Gilpin were on a parking lot along East Main Street in Milton on Friday. When officers searched their Oldsmobile, they found materials used to make meth, Bishop said.
The officer said Gilpin then told police that those items actually belonged to his girlfriend, Hedrick, who was also on the parking lot.
