A teenager died after a car crash Sunday morning in Ironton, Ohio.
The driver, a 16-year-old male, was traveling in a pickup truck about 8 a.m. in the 2400 block of South Eighth Street when he lost control of the truck and hit a parked vehicle, knocking it into a yard, Detective Chris Bowman of the Ironton Police Department said. The detective said the pickup truck then made its way back onto the road where it hit two additional vehicles.
Bowman said the teenager had to be cut out of that truck. He was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead. His name has not been released pending family notification.
