A man and woman are in jail after police say they robbed a man with autism.
Sgt. Jeremy Walters with the Ceredo Police Department says it happened about 2:45 p.m. Saturday in the 300 block of 1st Street East in Ceredo.
Walters says that's when Ronald Hodge, 27, and Janie Gillman, 23, both of Kenova, showed a weapon and stole a few hundred dollars and a cell phone from the victim.
Police say anonymous tips helped lead to the arrests of both Dodge and Gillman later on that day. Police also found the plastic gun which was used in that robbery. Both suspects are charged with robbery, petit larceny, and brandishing a firearm, and remain in jail.
