A Fayette County man is still missing after trying to swim across a river.
Police say David Jones disappeared around 11pm Saturday while swimming with some friends in the Gauley Bridge area of Kanawha Falls.
Police say Jones went under the water, but never came back up.
Search and rescue teams spend all morning and afternoon Sunday searching for Jones but had to call off the search around 3pm.
Jones is 47-years-old and is from Powellton, West Virginia.

Fayette County deputies are searching for a missing swimmer.
Dispatchers say that a man was swimming in the Gauley Bridge area of Kanawha Falls, when he went under and never came back up.
A rescue team is currently searching the river for the man.
The man's name has not been released.
