West Virginia American Water has issued a boil water advisory for 200 customers in the West Washington Street and Big Tyler Road areas outside of Charleston.
Crews say a water main broke and they are repairing it.
Affected customers live on West Washington Street, from Woodrum Lane to Dutch Hollow Road, and Big Tyler Road, between West Washington Street and Victoria Road. This also includes all side streets in these areas; including Woodrum Lane, Melody Lane, Slaughter Drive, Woodall Lane, Medical Lane, Eliza Lane, Japonica Lane, Red Bud Lane, Hackberry Lane, Winterberry Lane, Dewberry Lane, Liberty Lane, Primrose Lane, Washington Drive, Elm Street, McKinnely Drive, Roosevelt
Drive, Maple Street, Locust Drive, Victoria Road, Lincoln Drive and Forbes Drive.
Those affected should boil their water for at least one minute before cooking, drinking, bathing, brushing teeth and cleaning.
