We now know the name of a man who was struck by a train in Fayette County Friday night.
Deputies say 35-year-old Christopher Manley was hit by a Norfolk-Southern train near the Harewood Straight crossing in Boomer.
Manley suffered severe injuries to the lower part of his body and was flown to CAMC General. He is listed in critical condition.
At this time, it is unclear why Manley was on the tracks, or if drugs or alcohol played a factor.
So far, no charges have been filed.
