Veterans honored fallen vets at a local cemetery as part of a three day motorcycle ride to Washington, D.C. Friday morning.
It's all part of the annual Sergeant Deforest Talbert Memorial Ride. The Patriot Pride Military Club honored Talbert at the cemetery with a ceremony and a gift.
Talbert was a member of the West Virginia National Guard 1st 150th Armor Battalion. He was killed in action in Iraq eight years ago.
The Patriot Pride riders do this ride every year to raise money for Talbert's son's college education.
The club will continue their ride to the Arlington National Cemetery and the Vietnam Wall in Washington.
