The former host of the anti-crime show, "Chainbreakers," will have to stay in jail.
Andy Palmer was denied bond Wednesday afternoon.
The state contends Palmer is dangerous. They say a confidential informant told officers that Palmer said he was not going back to jail and would "shoot it out" with police.
Palmer's lawyer says it costs taxpayers $50 a day to keep him in confinement since he cannot be with the general inmate population because of his affiliation with "Chainbreakers."
