Two people are injured after they were hit by a train in Jefferson.
It happened at the intersection of MacCorkle Avenue and Kanawha Terrace in Jefferson around 11pm Friday.
No word on why the two men were near the tracks. We are told one of the men had a back injury. No word on the condition of the second victim.
The tracks had to be shut down for several hours while deputies investigated.
