A Kanawha County man pleads guilty to a lesser charge in a Cedar Grove murder case.
Ernest Young beat 81-year-old Wilfred Naylor to death with a nightstick at his home in June of 2011.
Young was initially charged with first degree murder and grand larceny, but Wednesday pleaded guilty to second degree murder.
Young called Naylor a friend, but says Naylor made advances toward him and that's when he blacked out, and doesn't remember much more.
Young faces ten to 40 years in prison when he is sentenced in August.
