Grants are available for fire departments in West Virginia to help them recruit firefighters.
Congressman Nick Rahall says the Federal Emergency Management Agency is accepting applications for funding through its Staffing For Adequate Fire and Emergency Response grant program.
The program provides grants to help fire departments with staffing and deployment capabilities in order to respond to emergencies.
