On again, off again. That's what some folks are dealing with when it comes to their power in rural Roane County and people are fed up.
The power continues to go on and off at O'dell Exxon in Amma. The area was without power for 11 days after the massive storm last month. It finally came back, but since then, it's gone out several more times.
The manager at Exxon says the power problem is hurting business. The loss of dairy products and even ice is making tough.
Down the road, a family reunion that usually consists of more than a hundred people ended up being a fourth of the size. Preparing for the part means relying of power to get food ready.
Folks who live in that part of Roane County say they'd like to see more trees cut down around power lines with hopes that could help solve the reoccurring problem.
