A twice convicted sex offender is heading back to prison. Charles Illingworth was slapped with a 10-25 year sentence for beating and raping a woman in Charleston.
Illingworth was already a registered sex offender for a previous child porn conviction.
A Kanawha County jury convicted him of raping a woman and severely beating her on Pennsylvania Avenue.
Illingworth was living in the Charleston Men's Shelter at the time. Judge Jennifer Bailey didn't mince words when she handed down her sentence.
