Residents who get their water from West Virginia American Water, have service once again.
WVAW reps say water service has been restored to the 171,000 customers statewide.
We're told that there is a small number of remote sites which continue to run on backup generator power, but customers should not be experiencing any issues with their water quality or water pressure.
While the water is back on, it is still expected to take several weeks to repair dozens of storm-damaged communication hubs, radio antennas and cables at water storage tank sites. WVAW water says that customers should not see any disruption to their service while those repairs are made.
The precautionary boil water advisory issued for the state on July 2nd has been lifted for all WVAW customers.
