A West Virginia man drown in the New River over the weekend.
Giles County officials say Brian Morris, 31, of Fayette County apparently stepped off of an underwater ledge while wading on the riverbed between Glen Lyn and Narrows on Saturday.
Divers recovered his body and say he was not wearing a life jacket.
