A toddler is recovering after burning his feet after somebody threw firecrackers at him.
Two-year-old Chase Nichols was with his family Saturday afternoon on the corner of 10th Ave and 20th Street in Huntington, when police say the driver of a maroon car pulled up and threw a bundle of lit firecrackers at his family.
The firecrackers landed on Chase, and he suffered first and second degree burns on his feet.
Daniel, Nichols' father said it was unbearable to watch.
"As soon as they landed they started exploding," Nichols said. "We had no time to react."
Huntington Police said the suspect is a white juvenile, driving a maroon, four door car anybody with information should call 304-696-4420.
