Emergency officials urge all residents to use cell phones if they have difficulty using a landline to reach 911 in the Cross Lanes area.
Metro 911 has received reports from people throughout Kanawha County experiencing problems reaching 911 from landline phones. We are working with Frontier to fix this problem.

Cross Lanes Area - The 776 telephone exchange is currently not able to call 911. Those with an emergency calling from a 776 number, should call 304-776-4714 and the Kanawha County Ambulance Authority will dispatch your call. You are able to call within the exchange but not outside of the exchange.
