A local veteran is spending the fourth of July holiday helping fellow service men and women who have served our country.
Wil Lanigan, a Vietnam veteran, works with Veterans Helping Veterans and Others in Huntington.
The organization provides clothing and food, as well as information for veterans.
Wednesday evening, Lanigan will be grilling and selling hot dogs and drinks along Route 60 and Piedmont Road -- right across from Camden Park.
All money will go to help those veterans in our region affected by the recent power outage.
