The force of the wind in Friday's huge storm downed more than trees and power lines. It turned this mobile home into a flying roadblock on West Virginia 34 in Putnam County. The remains got pushed to the shoulder.
Chad Moles' Ellkview barn was swept off it's foundation and dumped into a creek. It left the area powerless. Jack Smith's big carport took flight and hit his barn.
It was just a near miss, but a big one in Oval Painter's neighborhood when a huge tree dropped. Along the Jackson-Putnam line a barn was shredded up. The damage is adding up in the Mountain State.
