Garbage collection: Because so many people lost power and have spoiled food as a result, the city will keep refuse packer trucks at three locations from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. until further notice: The Cantley Drive park and ride, the North Charleston Community Center and the Kanawha City Community Center.
Regular refuse collection for Tuesday routes will take place as scheduled Tuesday, July 3, 2012.
Collection plans for the rest of the week will be determined Tuesday, July 3, 2012..
