The Raleigh County Sheriff's Office is investigating a homicide that happened early Friday morning in Prosperity.
They say around 1:30 a.m. the victim, Christopher Saunders, along with some other approached a house on Carmellia Street in Prosperity.
They say an altercation happened with the unidentified homeowner and others at the house.
Deputies say the homeowner shot Saunders with a bow and arrow during the altercation.
They say it appears to be related to an earlier altercation that happened at an apartment on Industrial Drive in Beckley.
No charges have been filed, as of yet, but the case is still under investigation. They say they will present all evidence to the prosecuting attorney's office to determine what, if any, charges will be filed.
