The new Highland Hospital is ready to open. It sits adjacent to the existing Highland Hospital building in Kanawha City.
The expanded hospital will have 98 beds and an outpatient center, with nearly 60 additional people expected to be added to the staff.
The project took 13 months to complete and cost $29 million dollars.
A grand opening for the gala will be held Thursday evening. The new facility will open July 9th.
