The Supreme Court has finished reading its decisions and the highly anticipated ruling on the Affordable Healthcare Act is not among them. The court will sit again on Thursday to release its remaining decisions, that is when they are expected to read the decision on healthcare.
The case was argued in March and was likely decided then. The court's decision will impact millions of Americans.
The court is considering three main issues of the Affordable Healthcare Act. One question has to do with the individual mandate within the law, requiring everyone to have health coverage by 2014 or pay a fine. The court must decide if it is Constitutional to require Americans to buy health insurance.
The court is also considering the insurance reform section of the act and the expansion of public programs including Medicaid.
The court could uphold parts of the Act while throwing out other parts, but they have given no indication on how they will decide.
