The future home of the new Sissonville Volunteer Fire Department is starting to take shape.
Friday, crews began pouring concrete and moving dirt.
The new Thomas K. Johnson Fire Station will be located at 383 Call Road in Sissonville.
If construction goes as planned, the new fire station should be open in November.
