Norman Rockwell's paintings show an America full of hope and optimism.
Those paintings come to life in the original Contemporary Youth Arts Company production of "Norman Rockwell's American Paradise."
Written by Dan Kehde with music by Mark Scarpelli, the show is a series of vignettes imagining the circumstances surrounding the creation of more than two dozen of Rockwell's most famous works.
The show spans a big chunk of the 20th century...using music to explore the different themes surrounding Rockwell's creations. Sadness, laughter, love and loss are all showcased during 26 scenes. Each tells its own story.
The Contemporary Youth Arts Company presents:

Capitol Center Theater 123 Summers Street, Charleston, WV
