The Kanawha County Commission met Thursday night to discuss the annexation of the Bayer site in Institute and county fire fee.
Commissioners decided that they will hold a public hearing on the annexation of Bayer. The meeting will be held July 11th.
Also, commissioners are requiring some facts and figures regarding struggling fire departments across the county. They are now looking into how much money is really needed.
