Two men are behind bars for stealing a mortuary van and then going for a joyride.
Michael Parsons and John Shaver were arrested after deputies found them passed out in the back of the van at the 7-11 on the West Side of St. Albans early Thursday morning.
Deputies found the van belonged to Tri-State Mortuary in Poca and neither man had permission to use it.
Parsons and Shaver are charged with joyriding. Parsons is also charged with operating a vehicle while revoked for DUI. Shaver is also charged obstructing an officer.
