A Kentucky State Highway worker is facing federal drug charges.
Kentucky State police say they intercepted an alleged drug delivery to Martin W. Wright, 36, of Louisa earlier this week. That attempted delivery happened Tuesday when Wright was allegedly waiting at the Valero Gas Station just south of Louisa on US 23 for the illegal narcotics to be delivered.
Troopers say Wright was waiting in his State Highway vehicle, when they intercepted the delivery of those drugs.
KSP arrested Wright at his home on San Branch Road Thursday morning. He is charged with drug trafficking and remains in jail. KSP detectives are investigating.
