West Virginia State Police with the Huntington Detachment had a busy Wednesday afternoon. Operation Safety Blitz went smoothly, catching speeders and one woman who allegedly had drug paraphernalia in her car.
Troopers say the purpose of the blitz it to alert speeders around construction zones. But while some got tickets, one woman got a trip to jail. Her name was not released.
