Tractor Trailer Driver Injured After Cab Bursts Into Flames

A tractor trailer driver is in the hospital after the cab of his truck burst into flames on the West Virginia Turnpike.
Dispatchers say the truck, which was hauling rolls of steel, caught on fire near the Sharon Exit around 3pm Wednesday.
The driver suffered 2nd degree burns to his legs and was taken to the hospital.
The East Bank Volunteer Fire Department managed to clear most of the accident scene within a matter of minutes, but one of the southbound lanes remains closed.
