A Michigan man is sentenced to 15 years in prison for his role in a robbery that killed a man.
Kawan Taylor, 23, of Detroit appeared in Cabell County court Wednesday morning.
Taylor entered a Kennedy plea, convicting him of first degree robbery. In exchange for that plea, prosecutors dropped the murder charge he had faced.
The robbery happened back in March of 2010, when Taylor allegedly chased Daryl Grandberry, 40, onto a Huntington rooftop during a robbery. Grandberry fell nearly 30 feet off that roof and died of his injuries.
